Welcome to Catchdogs Inc.,

My name is Jake Fischer and I have owned and raised APBT since 1985/86, my first Pit Bull was “Tilly”, named for my great grand mother, Tilly helped me develop into the person and dog lover that I am today. Here at Catch Dogs Inc., if you don’t really want to know the answer, don’t ask, because you will get my biased opinion.  I raise puppies because I like to, not because I have to, I enjoy my dogs more then I do people, because people are disappointing, period!

I believe that people are inherently good, with only other people to set their personal compass by.

Our kennel is located just south of Jefferson City, Missouri.

My goal over the next couple of years is to raise and train an exceptional pack of bay and find dogs, and to breed the most athletic, trustworthy, and sound catch dogs in the central US, and become world famous…LOL. I’m going to be learning as I go with help from some South Arkansas hog hunters, David and Garrett Dedman, Craig Ashcraft, and Junior Stocks, Those guys took me in and treated me like one of their own. That says a lot, seeing that I’m a Yankee. To quote David Dedman; “to hunt Yankee hogs in Missouri all you need is, two Beagles and Rat Terrier to catch”.  

Over the last year, we here at Catch Dogs Inc. have been going through some bloodline changes. I have focused most of my energy in the direction of, hog hunting. I have been lucky enough to be given an opportunity to possibly breed to a highly regarded bloodline, GR CH Boogieman.  Boogieman blood is extremely hard to acquire and over the last year we have been lucky enough to find it in the way of an 8x bred grandson of GR CH Boogieman, Bronson. A fellow dogman and friend of mine, Brian Willibrand, owns Bronson. Bronson has the ability and the genetics to become a GR CH himself, and in my opinion it will happen sooner then later.

I truly believe in very few things, one being, all a man has is his word and a handshake, never to be taken for granted.  Two, never disrespect anyone or anyone’s property.  Three, you reap what you sew, what goes around, comes around!

If I sell you a dog, what I say is what I mean. If I tell you that a rooster can pull a freight train, you can hook him up! I guarantee what I tell you to be true. Nothing to be implied or expected out of the realm of what I say.  All dog sales are final! Unless, something was over looked by me or was not disclosed at that time of sale/trade or other.

I do not know everything, as a person I am always evolving and gaining knowledge.

Hello, from KY! We are the proud new parents of Kile's Blizzard of Oz, aka 'Ozzie'. We searched and searched to find the perfect puppy from the perfect kennel to no avail. That is, until we discovered Jake and Bobby from Catchdogs, Inc. Not only did they offer beautiful and healthy puppies, they were amazing to work with. They gladly answered any questions we had and were very flexible in our options to get our new puppy home. Ozzie came to us very socialized and his transition into our family was very smooth. In our opinion, Catchdogs is the best in the business.
